How much does a stall cost?
There is no booking fee. Stalls are by donation: on the day you trade, please give a cash donation of any amount to our volunteers. WinterFest is volunteer-run and not-for-profit, and your donation never affects your place at the market.
Why should I book in advance?
We have room for up to 30 stalls each market day. Stalls are confirmed in order and by category balance, and when a day is full we move to a waiting list.
Does filling in the form guarantee a stall?
No. The form is an application. We confirm every stall individually by email.
Can I trade on one day only?
Yes. Choose the day(s) that suit you on the form: Sunday 13, Saturday 19 or Sunday 20 December, or all three.
I traded at WinterFest before. Do I get priority?
Yes, returning vendors are invited first. Just tick “Yes” to “Have you traded at WinterFest before?”.
What if I need to cancel?

What time is the market?
The market is open to the public 1–7 pm each market day. We’ll email your exact arrival window with your confirmation. Please be fully set up 15 minutes before opening.
Do I need to bring a table, chair or tablecloth?
Tables are limited, so if you can bring your own (about 6 ft / 1.8 m), please do, and tell us on the form if you need one. Chairs are available on request. Please bring your own tablecloth: festive colours look great and a floor-length cloth hides boxes underneath.
Is there heating and power?
Yes, the marquee is heated, but it’s still December, so dress in warm layers. Tell us on the form what you’ll plug in and its wattage, and bring a safety-tested extension lead. Please don’t bring your own heaters unless we agree it in advance.
What lighting is there?
The marquee has general and festive lighting. Most vendors add their own warm fairy lights or LED spotlights to make products sparkle after dark.
On the day
What can I sell?
Handmade gifts, crafts, art, decorations, local produce, festive food and drink, and anything with a local or Christmas feel. We balance categories so the market has real variety.
Can I sell food?
Yes. Food vendors must hold the relevant registration and follow food-safety rules; we ask for details on the form.
What should I bring?
Tablecloth, stall lighting, extension lead, price labels, bags, a float of change, a card reader (one that works offline is best), your cash donation, a warm coat and a flask. Most of all, your festive spirit!
What if the weather is bad?
The market is inside a heated marquee, so it goes ahead in rain and cold. In a severe weather warning we’ll contact every vendor directly.
